Our Extra Rules Suggestions
Crossing Linear Obstacles
When crossing walls, hedges etc measure the actual width of the obstacle to be crossed and treat as that amount of poor terrain. (ie. ½" wide obstacle costs 1" of movement)
Traversing The Slope Of A Hill
While moving up, down or across an average steepness hill slope, treat as moving across poor terrain. (ie. 1" of slope costs 2" of movement)
Close Approach Of Units
Any unit cannot move within 1" of a hostile enemy unit, or the cover that the enemy occupies, unless carrying out close assault.
The above rule is not valid if the enemy unit is not hostile (surrendering or if all members are casualties)
Blind Spots Above And Below Hills
An observer on the top of a hill cannot see any target (of a similar or smaller size) below the crest, that is closer to the crest of the hill than the observer. (see chart)
A target positioned on a hill slope, is only visible to an observer on the top of the hill, if the target is more than halfway up the slope, unless the observer is within 1" of the top of the slope.
An observer below a hill cannot see any target (of similar or smaller size) on the top of the hill, that is further from the crest than the observer. (see chart)
The above rules are valid for average height hills, any unusually high or low hills should be agreed before play.

Reaction Fire
Reaction fire is allowed against any unit that ends it's first action in the open, whether or not it moves during the second action.
If a unit reaction fires it may do nothing else that turn. (see SGII rulebook page 53)

Stats For Aliens In Stargrunt II
Until such a time that the suppliment "Bugs Don't Surf" comes out there are no rules for any non-human forces. The following are some ideas that we have invented.
