- As a long-time fan of
the BBC series Dr Who, it was inevitable that I should consider
trying to use some of the famous adversaries in a Stargrunt game.
With the release of the Dr Who figures by Black
Tree Design this idea became possible.
- Of all of the numerous
opponants, the Daleks & the Cybermen are the most fondly remembered.
Both of these are fairly easy to represent
Daleks
- Daleks come in two basic sorts, the white or Imperial Daleks
and the grey or Renegade Daleks. They operate in squads of three.
The only exception to this is the special-weapons Dalek, which
is counted as being an attached specialist. Special weapons Daleks
should be used in very small numbers, and may only be fielded
by Imperial Daleks. The only exception to these is the Dalek's
creator, Davros, who is a unique figure, stats as a Renegade Dalek,
but classed as veteran and un-armed.
- Daleks have the following statistics
- Daleks are always classed as elites, but are considered immune
to all psychology
- Slow power armour (6" Base Mobility)
- D10 Armour Die
- May not cross linear terrain, unless late Imperial Daleks
that may 'hover' over walls by counting them as difficult terrain.
- Dalek guns are classed as infantry plasma guns; FIREPOWER:
D6; IMPACT: D12
- Special weapons Daleks are armed with a weapon the equivalent
of an Infantry Rocket (IAVR); SUPPORT FIREPOWER: D10; IMPACT:
D12

Cybermen
The following information is for the late 'Earthshock'
era Cyberman.
- Cybermen have the following statistics
- Cybermen are classed as veterans or possibly elites
- Slow power armour (6" Base Mobility)
- D12 Armour Die
- Cyberman blasters are classed as infantry plasma guns; FIREPOWER:
D6; IMPACT: D12
