June
2008
I had a break from painting
a lot of figures this month and worked on some scenery. It made a nice
change
Painted Total for
June: only the 2 vignettes but lots of scenery
Purchases: 3 (a Lead
Adventure Forum figure & 2 WW2 figures from Blacktree)
plus 2 New Figures
For Killer-B

Carrying on the Roman
army I completed two general stands this month. This is Maximus
from Newline Designs
|
|
And this is Marcus
Aurelius from Gripping Beast. A present from Steve, a gaming
buddy!
|
|
So, terrain &
scenery got a look in this month. These are some broken ground
surface markers for a game I have planned. Foamcore over MDF
bases

I spotted a warehouse
on eBay a while ago but it went too rich for me. Matakishi built
a similar one so using ideas from both designs I built this.
I used PVC foam sheets for the walls, brilliant stuff!

Another idea taken
from Matakishi's Teahouse. This is a guard hut built using PVC
foam again. The window frames are 6mm wire mesh

Finally painted &
based a ruined temple I got from from Magister Militum ages
ago
|
|
I spotted some pulp
scifi scenery on eBay and decided to have a bash at making some.
This is the first piece, used were card, pins, beads, washing
machine pipe & a ping pong ball!
